We are thrilled to announce that Sam Richmond is joining our team as the General Manager of our Audubon location. Sam brings with him a wealth of experience and an undeniable zeal for the fitness and hospitality industries.
With over 15 years of leadership experience, Sam has honed his skills across various settings, including prestigious establishments like The Rittenhouse Hotel, where he contributed to earning the AAA Five Diamond Award, and The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. His tenure at The Rittenhouse was marked by a commitment to exceptional service, helping to uphold its status as one of the world's best hotels by Condé Nast Traveler.
In 2013, Sam re-entered the fitness industry, where he quickly established himself as a highly successful coach and manager at City Fitness Philadelphia. He eventually ascended to Director of Partner Development with the MBSC Thrive team. His dedication to fitness is not just a career but a calling. As the Director of Thrive, he led the personal training operations across all seven locations, focusing on inspiring both clients and the next generation of fitness professionals.
Sam's personal journey in fitness is just as impressive. A former collegiate football player at the University of Colorado Boulder, his passion for sports and fitness is lifelong. He has dedicated time to coaching high school football, advocating for fitness, and even exploring the world of kickboxing, where he aspires to compete.
Beyond the gym, Sam is a man of many interests. Whether it's reading, writing, or DJing, he embodies the balance between a strong work ethic and a rich personal life. He shares his home with his partner Danielle, an ER doctor at Temple, and their adorable rescue dog, Nipsey.
